Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
gayonaway is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and to Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on those guidelines.
What We Have Done
- Every page has a "Skip to content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users
- The HTML language and text-direction are set correctly per page
- Images include descriptive alternative text
- Interactive controls have accessible labels, and a visible keyboard focus ring is provided
- Information is never conveyed by colour alone — score levels and legal facts also use text and icons
- Text contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA on the colours used across the site
- The site is fully navigable with a keyboard, and respects the "reduce motion" system setting
Known Limitations
- Some third-party embedded content (for example the Stay22 accommodation map) is outside our control and may not be fully accessible.
- We continue to refine ARIA roles on more complex components in future updates.
